Linklater Pavilion - centre for the study of environmental change

At the entrance to the Reserve, the Railway Land Wildlife Trust seeks to build a unique centre whose key aims are to provide:
* a local archive of transition & change that builds on our pioneering work of the last 20 years.
* an innovative centre of environmental education for all generations.
* a practical base for adults with learning disabilities working alongside schools.

We are grateful to our founder patrons Lord Healey and Professor Ivor Goodson for their support and to our founder sponsors, The Mettyear Charitable Trust and Viridor Credits. To date, £501,000 is available for a shell and core design and build approach put forward by Lambert Smith Hampon and ISG Jackson.

This means that we will have a basic building and we will soon be more specific about the particular items we still need to include. Please go to 'Pavilion Latest' or the 'How to Help' section.

Click the animation below to hear about some of the sustainable features we are still going to try hard to incorporate into this community, environmental building. THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed so far.
