This was a special day because we had new members of staff, Debbie and Chris, who had never been to Birling Gap with us before. That meant we had to show them how to set out the coloured ropes that help us find the fixed point.

We also showed them how we set up the tripod to take each photograph. We are pleased with the result because it was windy and showery - we realise that we took a bit too much sky for the thumbnail which is something we always need to think about.

Note from project Leader, John Parry: It was really pleasing to know that the group were able to lead this activity with two new members of staff. It is not an easy thing to get each photo right and the group must have worked as a team.
