Noticing the seasonal surge of birdsong? Ever wondered who is singing which song, or even why birds sing?
We are lucky to have aspiring young naturalist Mya Bambrick visiting us. Mya will introduce us to some birdsong basics, before heading out into the nature reserve to listen to birdsong, identify ‘the singers’, and share her inspiring knowledge and enthusiasm of bird life.
Mya’s videos have featured on the ‘Self-Isolating Bird Club’, with Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin and on local TV. She is on the council of the Sussex Ornithological Society, and is a trained bird ringer with the BTO.
Beautiful Birdsong is another in our Wildlife Discovery Series providing FREE sessions for 14-25 year olds, funded by the National Lottery Communities Fund.
