Junior Rangers at the Railway Land

  • Do you have a child in Years 6, 7 or 8, aged 10-14?

  • Do they like being out in nature making new friends?

  • Would they like the opportunity to help look after the nature reserve, learn some cool skills and more about nature?

 

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to these questions our new Junior Ranger group may be just right for you!


Junior Rangers is a FREE nature group based at the Railway Land. 


The focus will be to help look after the nature reserve and learn new skills, in a fun inclusive group, and there will be opportunities to take part in green woodwork, ecology, pond dipping, fire lighting, exploring, games and more.

 

Taster sessions during the school holidays in **August:

Wednesday 28th and/or Thursday 29th August

Junior Rangers will meet from 10am–12.30pm

**August taster sessions are for those wishing to join the regular Saturday group only!

 

From 7th September Junior Rangers will run every Saturday morning 10am–12.30pm.

 

We are able to provide this club FREE thanks to National Lottery Funding.
